invalid っていうと、無効な、とかそういう意味だったとおもうが・・・

→ n. 病人, 病弱者　　a. 病弱な; 病人向きの.　vt. 病弱にする; 病弱者として取り扱う

なるほど、そういう意味があったのか・・・。
